Daily absences should be reported to the office before the start of the school day either via our website: www.temata.school.nz, the Te Mata School App or a phone call.

We endeavour to check unexplained absences at the start of each school day. 

Absences exceeding 3 days require a written note to the classroom teacher explaining the reason for the absence.
